Rules-Based Medicine (RBM) is a biomarker laboratory delivering reproducible, quantitative, multiplexed immunoassay data. We use Multi-Analyte Profiles (MAPs) to measure from several to hundreds of proteins in a small sample. Simply send us acceptable samples (see under "How to Order and Ship") for either HumanMAP or RodentMAP analysis and we will send you the data in about two weeks. For either MAP, we measure all of the analytes found in the quantitative antigen panel. In addition, you can request that we perform the semi-quantitative serological Autoimmune and/or Infectious Disease panels. They detect antibodies specific for the antigens listed in those panels. This request should be clearly stated in the "Sample Submission Form" which should accompany the frozen samples to RBM. There is no minimum number of samples required for testing with the HumanMAP or Rodent MAP.
If a smaller, more focused panel of analytes is required, then the Custom MAP option is available. RBM will validate a custom panel of assays to meet your needs. Please contact your sales representative or RBM directly. Minimum sample number does apply depending upon the size of the Custom MAP.
