Human Kidney Damage Panel

RBM has released the KidneyMAP™ Human Kidney Damage Panel. This panel of multiple biomarkers to be measured from blood or urine is based on the rat KidneyMAP™ that RBM developed in collaboration with Novartis, the Predictive Safety Testing Consortium, and FDA's Critical Path. As in the rat version, the Human KidneyMAP™ will aid the detection of early signs of kidney damage. Kidney damage occurs in connection with exposure to toxic substances and in connection with diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, and autoimmune conditions, among others.
