Clinical Trials

MAP services are well suited for assessment of samples from clinical trials. The large MAP is often utilized in Phase I and early Phase II studies when drug safety is the primary concern. Casting such a wide net is an efficient way to look for unintended consequences of therapeutic intervention. By late Phase II and Phase III, our customers have often identified a smaller, more focused set of analytes to measure. They take advantage of our Custom MAP service to develop and validate a smaller, custom MAP. In Phase IV studies, when the long-term effects of drug are being studied, our customers return to using the large, comprehensive MAPs as long term safety is a major concern.
